ELECTRONIC VANE RELAY
The ALSTOM Electronic Vane Relay replaces a number of different vane relays. Pick up and drop away performance is greatly increased and will not vary over the life of the product. Phase angle settings are more easily accomplished than the mechanical counterpart. Mechanical adjustments and periodic inspections are simplified by the use of standard B relay structure.
There is less frequent periodic testing required when compared to the Mechanical Vane relays and a completely Solid State version is available which eliminates mechanical adjustments alltogether. The Electronic Vane Relay has a user interface with LED indication showing relay status and track signal strength to ease adjustment of feed voltage.
